Draining of the Knap Lake

The Knap Lake has now been drained revealing a shallow, slimy layer of mud littered with pebbles and lost dog toys. As well as the water disappearing the Swans are nowhere to be seen either.

Has a great conspiracy taken place?

For years the Swans have been labeled as a menace to the Knap Gardens and a danger to aviation. Warning signs surround the lake warning of a byelaw prohibiting the feeding of the swans. Fortunately most people ignored this and continued to feed and protect the beautiful flock of graceful swans that make the lake a more picturesque place to visit. Have they been relocated to Llangorse Lake as stated in the local press or have they been ‘done in’ by authority figures under the cover of this clean-up.
