Barry needs a Crematorium

Isn’t it about time we had our own crematorium in or near to Barry.

For years bereaved Barrians have had to endure the half hour trip all the way down to Coychurch in Bridgend just for a simple ten minute service.

In this age of increasing fuel prices and environmental awareness shouldn’t we be doing our bit to reduce excess CO2 emissions through unnecessarily long journey. If Port Talbot, Pontypridd and Cardiff can have their own Crematoria, surely its about time we had one too.

There are plots of land along Hayes Road near to the Vale recycling centre that would be ideal, they are just off the beach and not too close to any residential areas to be a nuisance.

Just a thought!

Any developers out there willing to risk a DEAD cert for an investment venture.
