Latest in Barry
Its been a while now since I have posted to the blog. Sorry, but things are getting hectic around here.
Since the last post David Davies has gone on to win a silver medal in the 10k open water race at the Beijing Olympics securing himself suitable admiration, praise and the freedom of the town. Congratulations David.

Look out for David switching on the Christmas Lights in Barry on Friday 21 November at 6.00pm. Don’t you find that the Christmas build-up is starting earlier this year. I am not even thinking about Christmas until December 1st except for the Christmas Lights switch-on of course.
The credit crunch has hit town and in an effort to drum up more business I have helped to set up a Chapter of the BNI network here in Barry. Basically we are a group of local Barry businesses who meet regularly and refer business to each other. I am pleased to say that referrals are coming in and I have never been busier. Check back here for more information and some recommendations for excellent service providers especially if you are looking to rent out or indeed rent a property in Barry and the Vale.
Talking about the credit crunch I can’t believe how greedy the banks have been over the past few years and the amount of problems their selfish actions have caused.
